Getting Started

📱 Using TurboPrep

TurboPrep is a web app. Open turboprep.netlify.app in your browser, create an account, and add it to your home screen for a native app experience.

On iPhone: tap Share then "Add to Home Screen". On Android: tap the menu then "Add to Home Screen".

Strava Integration

⬡ Connecting Strava

Go to Profile, then Strava Integration, then tap "Connect with Strava". You will be redirected to Strava to authorise TurboPrep. Once connected, your recent activities import automatically.

🔄 Syncing Activities

Activities sync automatically when you open the app. You can also tap "Sync Now" in Profile to force a sync. Activities recorded with TurboPrep's GPS tracker upload to your Strava profile automatically.

🔌 Disconnecting Strava

Go to Profile, then Strava Integration, then tap "Disconnect Strava". This immediately revokes TurboPrep's access to your Strava account. Your previously imported activities remain in your training log but no new data will sync.

You can also revoke access from Strava Settings — My Apps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I connect Strava?

Make sure you are logged into TurboPrep (not in Demo Mode). If you see a "forbidden" or "limit exceeded" error, the Strava integration may be pending approval. Contact your coach.

My activities aren't importing

Try Profile then Strava then "Sync Now". If activities still don't appear, disconnect and reconnect Strava. Make sure your activities are not set to "Only Me" visibility on Strava.

Do coaches see my Strava data?

Coaches see workout summaries (name, type, duration, distance) the same as any workout. They cannot access your Strava profile, routes, heart rate, or social data.

Is my Strava data used for AI coaching?

No. TurboPrep's AI coaching features explicitly exclude all Strava-sourced data. Only workouts you log manually are included in AI analysis. This complies with Strava's API terms.

I see duplicate activities

This can happen if you record in TurboPrep AND it also syncs from Strava. The app has duplicate detection, but if duplicates appear, ask your coach to run the Cleanup tool in the Admin panel.

How do I delete my account?

Contact your coach or the app administrator. Disconnect Strava first to revoke API access. Your Strava account is not affected by deleting your TurboPrep account.
